Sara Tejera Díaz was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on October 20, 1986. She has got the degree in chemistry, organic chemistry, by the University of La Laguna in 2010. Actually, she belongs to the research group Structures of Biomolecules of the Instituto Universitario de Bio-orgánica "Antonio González" and works under the direction of Prof. Dres. Jesús M. Trujillo Vázquez and Rosa Lelia Dorta Díaz on the preparation and stereochemical analysis of carbohydrate mimetics, as well as in the study of their potential biomedical activity.
