The aim of our group is to determine the stereochemistry of organic compounds, namely, absolute configurations and conformations, from small molecules to macromolecules. These determinations are performed by means of Circular Dichroism and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. The synthesis of glycomimetics, carbohydrates and glycopeptides are of particular interest to develop new biological active compounds.
